Union Man : New Light

Once again, I couldn't pass up the amazing light in my apartment. These shots were taken around 2 pm in early March. The light bounces off the hardwood floor. The result is an extremely soft light from beneath me. Instead of shooting in front of my trademark door, I wedged it open so the background was the dark hallway. This is the only time of year I can get front light from the windows and have the skylight in the hallway shadowed by the building across the street. There was a lot of light available but I didn't let much get to the sensor. I like the dim mystery.
