Hello Kate and gang, this is our first attempt at private pics, butthere was a slight problem with the quality. We first had the idea, finally,of moving the cam from my office to our bedroom, but you see, the littlecomputer in my bedroom is so old it barely serves its e-mail picking purposeanymore. And having only a 256 color video card, when my quickcam savedthe pics as jpg it did it only in 256. But I can't help that, can I? giveme some advise: If I save it on BMP and later convert it to jpg, would thepics have the 24 bit standard for BMP? And also, the auto-sharpening thingin the microsoft photo editor of windows 98 sort of made them worst. Canthat feature be turned off? I promise to send more and better pics oncethese issues are resolved, or better yet: when I can finally save enoughfor my IGOR1.
