Fairytales` Trip to California?

Dear voyeurwebbers, we will be travelling California from September 6 for about one week. Besides of sightseeing we would like to find some nice places especially beaches for some new pictures. I prefer to make them myself but I guess if someone recommends a place the hunters will not be far - hope to see you there and maybe fairytales again on the VW. So, recommendations are welcome. Sorry for the blurring, but we have no choice here.
