Freemont Summer Solstice Parade 2009

These are photos of the annual nude bicycle ride that precedes the Freemont Summer Solstice Parade. Freemont is a funky little community in Seattle, Washington and every year there is a street festival and parade to commemorate the longest day of the year. For many years nudists have ridden down the parade route in front of the official parade. The police gave up trying to stop them and it is now an accepted and welcome part of the event. This year the number of cyclists was huge. I estimate several hundred but it is so hard to tell. The scene is absolutely amazing.
