M* Ekserb 11: More Shower Shots - Wow, the comments on my last submission were so nice that I had to shoot some new ones right away. Unfortunately, it takes soooo long for the RC crew to post a series after they've been submitted that you won't see these until a week after I've uploaded them. These were taken today at a friend's place. I've just finished remodeling the bathroom for her and decided to break in the shower after a day at the beach. These are self portraits again, taken with the interval timer on the camera. Lots of lens flare in the center of the images due to the amount of light streaming in through the window and the exposure I needed to fill in the shadows in the room, so I apologize for the image quality right up front. Some healthy filtering in Photoshop to get the oversaturated, dreamy look in these. I'm really liking the effect since I happened upon it while processing the pool series from a few weeks ago. When I started this series, I couldn't hear the camera's shutter with the running water behind me, so some of them are a little motion blurred because I was moving around. After a little while I shut off the water so I could hear what was going on. After that the shots are much sharper.
