Here is the very first part of our tutorials. Before we go into lights and poses and processing we look into the very basics of digital photography.About our tutorials: We will come up with roundabout two tutorials each month and they will go until summer 2008. You will always find the summary of each tutorial and the sample images on our "Wiki" shortly after being published on the Private Shots or Redclouds section. Today's theme is image size and image quality, which is something every photographer needs to understand (and adjust on his camera) before even taking the first picture.

We receive dozens of shots every day like this one: Far too small! Sometimes you even find a remark like "The photo turned out very small, can you please enlarge it?" beside the photos.
So before we start talking about poses and lights and how to shoot the sexiest boobs, we should talk about the very basics of digital photography: Image size and image quality.
